Many people new to reiki wonder, what is meant by a reiki psychic attunement? A reiki attunement is a ceremony intended to open the gateway to your inner healing abilities and psychic energy.
Some believers of reiki argue that an attunement helps clear you of the issues you are struggling with in relation to body, mind and spirit. Once these issues are cleansed, you will be more open to your own spiritual gifts, such as your intuition and ability to heal yourself through energy work. Different forms of reiki
There are a number of different forms of reiki, which we can loosely describe as traditional Japanese and Western. The Japanese has a more intense focus on healing specific issues, compared to Western, which is useful for overall health and well-being.
Therefore, it is important to know the style and lineage of the reiki master you are receiving your attunement from. The lineage means the line of teachers that can be traced back all the way to the person who systematized reiki, Mikao Usui of Japan. He began his work in the late 1800s, using traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Tibetan techniques that had been used for more than 2,500 years. It is important to have a pure lineage in order to receive a true attunement.
What are you tuning into?
Some people believe an attunement is about gaining energy from outside themselves. In fact, it is simply a way of connecting with the energy and power within yourself that you already possess, but are probably not even aware of.
